As an English teacher for thirteen years and a literature lover for much longer than that, I aspire to translate my commitment to the written word to my students. I believe that through the study of others' writing, we experience countless lives and experiences and grow in wisdom and knowledge beyond measure. 

I graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 2011 with a degree in English (Medieval Literature). I have studied abroad and have a love of languages that supersedes the bounds of the English Language.  I love to help students make connections in literature between different cultures and history. I completed graduate work in Comparative Literature, focused on English, French, and Italian. I am currently pursuing my LPC licensure and M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I'm set to graduate August 1st this year.
